The Patient Representation Group for Masham & Kirkby Malzeard Surgeries has been running for over 10 years. It is an enthusiastic and friendly group who show great commitment to improving the service the surgery provides.
The group meets on a three monthly basis on a Wednesday evening at the surgery in Masham. The group provides a valuable service representing the wider patient population, discussing key issues directly with GPs and Practice Manager, producing a newsletter, and much much more.
To further expand on the feedback from the Patient Representation Group we also embark on an annual survey to try and explore areas that are considered priorities by the PRG. In response to the survey we are then able to alter or maintain the practice service to reflect what patient's really want. This perpetual cycle of patient representation and feedback should ensure that Masham & Kirkby Malzeard surgeries continues to evolve and provide as positive a patient experience as possible.
Full details of the past 3 years surveys can be found on this page and a more comprehensive description of the process of patient participation in the local patient participation report.
