Dear Patients,

GPs want the same things that you do. We believe nobody should struggle to see their family doctor.

But for years general practice has been woefully underfunded and many GP practices face closure.

To seek change we feel we must take part in the BMA collective action you may have seen in the news.

We want to reassure you that we are not going on strike. Any action we take is chosen to have minimal impact on patients other than improving safety.

We hope you can support us in trying to ensure we remain here for you and your families for decades more.
