The local Rural District Clinical Commissioning Group is responsible for the out-of-hours service. They have commissioned North Yorkshire Ambulance Service to operate the service on their behalf. When you ring the surgeries out of hours, your call will be automatically diverted to the North Yorkshire Ambulance Service control centre in York and arrangements will be made for you to be telephoned, attend a primary care centre in Ripon, Northallerton or Harrogate or be visited at home.
